#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Charles River
“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.”
Waking up early in this new rearranged clock time. And happy to get up. Eager to get to poems. I work on one, send it of for morning workshop and go off to the pool Another good swim. I take a short walk to the river, on phone, chatting with a friend, before workshop. All the rust has taken over. Then workshop goes very well. Helpful feedback for my poem which I revise again in the afternoon. My daughter comes by for a wedding meeting. Then Frank and I are off to have a meeting which has a long ride and plenty of time to talk in the car. The dark and the rain move in at 5:00 p.m. Second night in a row that we are out and about together. It’s good to get plenty of time to talk. Home early enough to welcome Wave home and get kisess and hugs. Tonight I am grateful. And concerned. So many people need love out there tonight. I’m grateful to have love to give.
