#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Red Maple
Awake early. Clock turned back. I get right to work. Today I get a few poems revised. The house is quiet and I go for a swim. Love being back in the pool. Coming home I see Frank and his double’s tennis friends playing on the court for the first time! It’s a delight. And we play pickle later with Franci and Will in the mid-afternoon sun and a light breeze blowing the milkweed seeds all around. Tonight, dinner with dear friends and then we all go to hear my friend Catharina Coenen read from her new book, Unexploded Ordnances at Brookline Booksmith and her reading is excellent. Happy to be home and warm in bed with good work on poems done.
